    Warning Signs

    Classic Symptoms

    • Crushing chest pain
    • Radiating to arm, jaw, or back
    • Shortness of breath
    • Cold sweat
    • Nausea

    In Women

    Women may experience different symptoms:

    • Extreme fatigue
    • Abdominal pain
    • Dizziness

    What To Do?

    1. Call emergency services - Don't wait
    2. Sit or lie down - Prevent falling
    3. Chew an aspirin - If not allergic
    4. Stay calm - Wait for help
    5. Start CPR - If person is unresponsive

    Prevention

    • Don't smoke
    • Eat healthy
    • Exercise regularly
    • Monitor blood pressure
    • Manage stress

    EMERGENCY: Always call emergency services if you suspect a heart attack!
